Happy New Year Everyone!!!

pic 1
Mama and I rung in the New Year with humor, style…

pic 1
beauty…

pic 1
and hunger? (can you believe the fuzzy green eyebrows are so large you can’t even see Mama’s fuzzy brown ones???)

pic 1
I took my first (memorable) tour of our Capitol building. We climbed up 109 steps…

pic 1
and snuck through the really cool revolving door. Upon entry I informed Mama that the inside looked like “a haunted house”.

pic 1
In the very center of the Capitol there were amazing pictures, a painting way up high inside the dome (how did they have arms long enough to paint that?) and a VERY large real Christmas Tree. It was decorated with ornaments of various Wisconsin birds. The Capitol buildling…

pic 1
ROCKS!!!

pic 1
Since we were visiting downtown…Mama and I decided to stop into the Children’s Museum to plant some veggies for summer.

pic 1
There was lots to do…

pic 1
but come this summer there will be a plethora of onions, squash, radishes and carrots! Yum?

pic 1
We also thought we’d help lay some bricks…it looked a tornado had recently passed through.

pic 1
Nobody takes a nap on my shift!

pic 1
No more playing with the camera, Mama–get to work!

pic 1
X marks the spot!

pic 1
Happy New Year from the Senecal family! We hope everyone had a great New Year and a great time watching me grow over the last 12 months. Who knows what the next 12 months will bring! Don’t forget to come back and check! See you next week!

Mega Turkey Post!

Ahhh….WHERE do I start???

pic 1
Can you guess what this picture means? Snow!!!

pic 1
We received our first accumulating snow on the Monday before Thanksgiving. I was so excited that I walked in a circle for almost an hour!

pic 1
We also had Aunt Robyn and Uncle Pete over for dinner and we put up our Christmas tree!

pic 1
I had so much fun…well, at least for the first 10 minutes. Then I spun in a circle while listening to xmas music and watched Mama and Aunt Robyn finish the tree!

pic 1
They did a great job didn’t they??

pic 1
Grandpa Sam and Grandma Kathy came to our place for Thanksgiving. And even though the snow had mostly melted, we had a wonderful time.

pic 1
On Saturday, we took the long way to one of our neighborhood parks…

pic 1
and of course I found all kinds of things to keep myself busy along the way.

pic 1
At the park, Papa showed off his superhero powers…

pic 1
nice save, Papa!

pic 1
I showed off a little too…although all of the equipment was slippery with my boots and gloves on.

pic 1
In the soccer fields near the park we found a really cool snow fort that some school kids had built…I think I can’t wait to go to big kid school too!

pic 1
We also played tag until I got tired and decided to take a rest on this squishy ball. My butt was thankful!

pic 1
Mama, Grandma Kathy and I tried to race Grandpa Sam and Papa in our pretend canoes…

pic 1
BUT we seemed to have MAJOR steering difficulties in the rear!!!

pic 1
Grandpa Sam and Papa played some serious Jenga! They would not let me play once the tower got to a certain height!

pic 1
I’m really not sure what the big deal was! Did they really think I wouldn’t be able to sit still? Whatever!!

Of course we took Grandma and Grandpa to the zoo…and boy were we glad…the animals were doing all kinds of crazy things for the holiday!

pic 1
I don’t know how well you can see it, but the Black Bear totally looked like he was plotting an escape.

pic 1
The Polar Bear was showing off a bit in his pool (Sure I think about swimming outside in 24 degree weather!)…

pic 1
and he even seemed disappointed when we started to walk away!

pic 1
The Prairie Dogs were much fatter than the last time we saw them…ya know…that celery, lettuce and carrot diet can really put on the pounds!

pic 1
And the Buffalo…well, all I can really say is brrrrrr…tongue…A Christmas Story and…OUCH!! (Although I think a fuzzy pole can’t be quite as sticky as a flagpole!)

pic 1
Now that I think about it…maybe it wasn’t just the animals!

pic 1
I think we all had a little bit too much turkey still in our systems…

pic 1
what do you think? I hope everyone had an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving. enjoy the pics and in case you thought you missed one…go back and start all over again!

Imagination Moving Snow!!

pic 1
It snowed! Well, okay it was really just flurries, but still. We all had slightly white grass and completely white roofs. I think that’s enough for me to call it snow. Now, if we could just get enough to go sledding!

pic 1
Now, that Halloween is over I wake up everyday from my nap and perform a ritual in the remembrance of such a wonderful holiday. How, you might ask? By carefully selecting a treat from my treat bucket. As you will see…this task is not as easy as it sounds! (ps. I think I see a hair cut in my very near future.)

pic 1
First, I have to think about what I’m in the mood for.

pic 1
Then I have to carefully move all the treats around…

pic 1
and around…exploring all of my options.

pic 1
AND if that doesn’t work…then as a last resort I dump all of my treats out on the table…

pic 1
and at last make a final decision. YUM!

pic 1
Confused? Well, let me explain!

pic 1
These guys you see on our TV are called the Imagination Movers. They are dads that wanted to make something musically fun for their kids and others as well. I think I’m in love. The coolest part is that these pjs look just like their blue jumpsuits (and I just happened to have an orange hat like Dave) so I feel like one of the band members!

pic 1
Their music makes me want to sing and shout…

pic 1
go surfing…

pic 1
and get up and dance! Mama also recently discovered their music CDs at our library…so now it’s Imagination Movers (& KISS) 24/7! If you don’t know who they are…check their website out:www.imaginationmovers.com

pic 1
Can you believe I drew this all by myself? I’ve been experimenting a lot and this is a yellow picture of Mama. The resemblance is so strong…I think we’re going to have to frame it!

pic 1
Shhh….I have a little secret to tell you. Uncle Pete’s birthday is this week and we got him this really cool hat. Only it was upstairs in a box and I dug it out and started running around like a maniac saying it was my hat…

pic 1
I hope he doesn’t mind…because I don’t think I’m giving it back! Have a great Sunday and we’ll see you next week!
