Mama has finally let me put my little fingers on her camera. Check out my photo! Okay…a little on the wobbly side, but that’s just like all digital newbies!

I’m sure I’ll be taking photos of myself in no time! Especially now that I have 3 eyeballs!

I decided to help out with some chores around the house today…

Hmm. While I’m out here I think I’ll check the mail too. I wonder if there’s anything good…?

Well, it looks like the envelope does not say: go, no, on, off, KISS, POISON, I SPY, OZZY, WHITESNAKE, book, boo, Halloween, cat, bat, hat, papa, mama, nolan, bus or stop and those are the only words I really know how to spell/read…so it must be “junk mail”.

What do you mean I’m too close to the camera?

So, we had some yellow jacket excitement this past week. On Tuesday, Mama went into the office to check email and was instead bombarded with about 60-80 half-dead and really alive and mad yellow jackets. After a brief yelp…she escaped un-stung, closed the door and like any pro…shoved a towel in the space between the door and the carpet! After letting them sit for a couple of days, a visit from Tony the exterminator and a major clean-up effort by Papa (alone) they have, at last, been completely removed from our office!!!

Our good friends, the Reuhls (aka Katie, Maddie, Hayden and Steve of course) are having a big pig roast party later this afternoon and into tonight. To celebrate the fun event, Mama made some festive treats. (The little piggie faces are pink chocolate! Yum!)

I’m going to take pictures with Santa today! Woo-hoo! I bet you can’t make me smile!

What??? I’m saving all of my good poses and smiles for Santa! I hope everyone had a great week and week-end! See you next week!

I’m coo-coo for cocoa puffs! But instead of feeding me that stuff Mama (plus Katie, Maddie & Hayden) and I all went to Madtown Twisters for an afternoon of energy burning delight.

I did the monkey bars a few stories up…

and cautiously attempted the fireman’s pole.

I walked the played air guitar on the low balance beam…

and flew down the slide with force.

I also jumped on the trampolines until every muscle in my body ached! (P.S. Check out my splits!)

It was the best time ever!! So, Mama, when can we go back???

This past week we also went to the zoo with the Aidan, Zachary and Jackson (and Kristen too of course!), but Mama and Kristen weren’t sure if they came to see the animals or if they brought the animals with them!!!

We also celebrated Auntie Robyn’s 34th birthday! Can you believe how old she’s getting? (hee hee)
I thought I’d help her blow out the candles just in case they were too difficult for her.

Check out this photo book Mama made. They always complain that I turn the pages too fast, but seriously. I’ve seen it all before!

Auntie Robyn and I love to do these little bead projects so I thought it would be a great idea to get her her own set of beads so she can make some projects for me at her home too—and they glow in the dark!

Mama’s heading to Chicago today (solo) to cheer Auntie Robyn on for her Breast Cancer 3Day. The crazy thing is we’ve been asking for warmer weather all summer…and here today it’s going to be 97 degrees and humid! What a day (and weekend) to walk 60 miles!

The turnout was huge the excitement was great—what an amazing feat. Congratulations Auntie Robyn you did a wonderful (and sweaty) job! (P.S. Everyone raised their shoes in memory of loved ones fighting, surviving and gone from Breast Cancer.) Thank you for checking out the website! We’ll see you next week!

Mama had a special belated birthday bowling girl’s night out…I was pretty bummed that I wasn’t able to go. I even told her I was going to have a big kid bowling day with no Mama’s someday!

She had a wonderful time…including the birthday cake retreat in the mini-van (w/lit candles!!). For those of you who are great bowlers…you may want to skip the next several pictures!

And maybe even start a new hat trend! (Yes, that is Aidan & Zachary under those glasses and baskets in the middle and Hayden too!)

I think Jackson had a few ideas of his own! (Aidan & Zachary’s younger brother.)

We even got to say hello to the Easter Bunny…

and eat my first donut ever! YUM!

And, to complete my week, the Easter bunny visited my house and left me a few treat filled eggs to add to my stash, but first I had to find them all…

We finally got our Girl Scout cookies for the year…they were delicioso…and worth the wait!

After a chilly day outside Mama and I made some hot cocoa. Check out all of those marshmallows I put in there when Mama wasn’t looking!

Now that it is March…I’ve been fine tuning my birthday costume. No peeking!!

We had a ROCKIN’ family jam session this past weekend. (Who knew a horse on a stick would make such a great guitar/microphone combo—great find, Gran’Mary!!)

Check out these beautiful roses that Papa sent Mama for Valentine’s Day…

This is my preschool. When we get there…I have to take off my coat and then find the Hershey kiss with my name on it. Today was a special day because we made our very own valentine’s boxes and valentine’s cards to give to all of the kids–it was like a Valentine’s Day party!

This is the box Mama and I made. Check out the Spider-Man, astronaut, planet and guitar stickers we put on the box. It rocked!!!

I had a good time checking out all of the boxes and trying to fit my valentine’s into the box slots!

Check this box out! Jacob and his Mama made a foam Hummer! It was cool, but (shhhh don’t tell anyone) my favorite (after mine of course) was Maeve’s with the fuzzy pink feathers!
