Okay….so where were we? Mama tossed in a photo of my class list, but totally forgot some pics from Uncle Nathan and Cousin Aby’s awesome visit way back in July. So, here we go…
Have I ever mentioned that Aby squeals like a girl??? I even tried it a few times, but it just didn’t come out quite right.
Did I ever mention that Uncle Nathan is just a kiddo in an adult’s body???
Who knew how much fun a cousin could be!!

Aren’t we the cutest ever???
We can even overthrow the ‘rentals and pick out our own dessert!
Yes, this is Madison’s Concerts on the Square now. There are so many people in attendance that it is complete pandemonium.
So, of course we had to add some of our own chaos…like ice cubes down the shirt…
ice on the head…
Hip-hop dancing to the classical music performances…
and Uno of course!!!
Aby added her girly nature to just about everything…but I didn’t really mind…
as it was so much fun…
having a friend around full-time. I mean…who else would take the time to look at photos of Mama and Uncle Nathan when they were our age???
Check out this cool quilted Polar Bear we found at the zoo…
and the Grizzly bear checking us out like we’re the ones on display!
We also learned about our Devil’s Lake State Park…that sometimes the North side has choppy (white capped) waves while the South shore is as calm as the season’s first snowfall.
Cousin Aby and Uncle Nathan even came to watch me perform as “the little boy” in a play called The Emperor’s New Hair. (Hopefully we’ll have the playable video on here soon!)
It was so cool to have even more family in the audience! What an awesome visit. Now, I hope they come back sometime in the winter so we can sled down Elver hill together….whoppeeeee!!
When they went back to Texas it was time to do some school supply shopping…
and new school clothes shopping too. Did you know you can find Super Mario t-shirts that glow-in-the-dark???
Mama and I went over to my new school to check things out ahead of time.
Check out the cafeteria—it is soooo big!
This is the door to my future Kindergarten class–Yeah!! (Would you like to know something really cool? Aby and I both have teachers named Mrs. Johnson for Kindergarten!!)
Mama went to her first ever scrapbooking retreat. Can you believe that it’s a group of ladies that sit and scrapbook all day and sometimes watch chick-flicks too??? Mama let me stop by for a couple of hours too. I had a blast!
Hmm…uh-oh…there’s a full moon!!
Which for Mama meant a trip to the hospital for a bleeding ulcer…yuck! It must have been the combo of the full moon and all of those romantic-comedy chick flicks!!
Gran’Mary came for a couple of weeks to help out around the house. I got to help make jello for Mama. I was a busy guy…I mean someone had to keep an eye on Gran’Mary so she wouldn’t get too carried away adding things to the jello!! :)

I put on my Superman costume to help cheer Mama up…for some reason she couldn’t quit laughing!!
Here we are…off to school for my very first day of Kindergarten.
Mama couldn’t walk with us, but that didn’t stop her from taking pictures!!!
This is the special path in our treeline…it’s so exciting to finally be walking this path to go to school—and not just to play on the playground! (Okay, Papa, you can stop right there…you don’t need to go any further!)
Papa, can’t you go any faster??? Someone might be looking!
That’s my teacher! There is even a KJ painted on the sidewalk so that my class knows exactly where to line up. Cool!
Papa and I got to sneak a peek in our room before all of the other kids get there.
I’m a big kid now!!
I am so lucky…Mama, Papa, Gran’mary and Auntie Robyn all came to eat lunch with me on my first day of school. It was the perfect day! I hope all of you had a great weekend. Don’t get too used to the ultra long post! We are at least all caught up now!! We’ll see you next week!
