Happy Belated Easter!!!

pic 1
For our Easter celebration we invited Auntie Robyn and Uncle Pete over to try Mama’s homemade green eggs and ham! I think they look rather toxic!

pic 1
I asked Mama why the ham wasn’t green too, but all she said was “because”.

pic 1
She has a tendency to do that sometimes…answer, but not really answer my questions.

pic 1
Now…which color should I do first and exactly how long does it need to be in there to be the shade I want?

pic 1
waiting…waiting…and…

pic 1
waiting…waiting…waiting

pic 1
Okay…seriously! Who said we were going to make FANCY eggs???

pic 1
Check out all of our eggs! Now that we have colored them we can accessorize…

pic 1
We have an eggcellent guitar player…

pic 1
We have the eggciting new band “Scramblin’ Trio”…

pic 1
and a cross between an aging Carrot Top and Sean White?

pic 1
I think these monsters…

pic 1
are shakin me up…

pic 1
makin’ me laugh…

pic 1
and givin’ me the sillies! I hope everyone had a great Easter and a good past couple of weeks. Have a great weekend and see you next week!

Michigan Pics At Last!

pic 1
Okay, here we come, Michigan!

pic 1
Have I ever mentioned how thankful I am for Gladstone, MI? It seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere U.P. Michigan, but it doesn’t matter.

pic 1
It has the best park and I am always so thankful to have a chance to get out and run like the wind.

pic 1

pic 1
Check out this ultra steep spiral speedster slide…

pic 1
Even Papa was surprised at it’s speed!

pic 1
Daytime soon turned into evening as we finally approached the Mackinac Bridge. What a beautiful sky!

pic 1
While we were stopped for the photo-op we decided to give Grandma Lily a call…

pic 1
I had to talk too of course!

pic 1
We arrived just in time to see the deer searching for a bedtime snack in Grandma Lily and Grandpa Bill’s backyard…

pic 1
and of course the rest of the beautiful sky and sunset from the kitchen window.

pic 1
The next day mama and I headed down to the waterfront area to play at the park. On our way we saw our first live muskrat ever!

pic 1
Did I mention it was cold while we were in Michigan?

pic 1
They even still had ice in several places…like here, near the shore of Lake Michigan.

pic 1
While we were in Michigan I was able to play hide and seek with some of my cousins.

pic 1
I think a 5 year old fits under the furniture a little better than a 13 year old!

pic 1
We had a wonderful time visiting with everyone in Michigan…and were so surprised to find another beautiful sunset waiting for us in Madison…

pic 1
What a way to end a wonderful trip! I hope everyone had a good weekend. Thank you to Grandma Lily, Grandpa Bill and Great-Grandma Mary for all of the stories, hugs & kiss and goodies of course! See you all next week!

Everybody got to create their own guitar stickers in the dining room…
