Whew…that was exhausting!!! I hope you all have a great week. We’ll see you next weekend!
The World Through The Eyes of a 4 and 7/8 Year Old!
Milwaukee Day Trip: 200+ miles 11 gallons of gas = Fun in WI
Papa, Mama & I headed off to Milwaukee for a day this past week. Papa needed to meet someone regarding his green card and Mama & I wanted to play in a new city! Check out their pretty architecture!
Anyone up for a polar plunge?
While we were here we thought we’d check out the Milwaukee Children’s Museum. Look at all of those poor children! They were watching the flag wave in the wind too long and froze into stone!
Check out this giant floor piano in their music exhibit! It was awesome. Mama could even play Mary Had a Little Lamb after some practice picking up both feet.
I’m finally getting a turn conducting the orchestra. (I thought Mama was NEVER going to share!) The orchestra was really good too. They played as fast as they could while I was moving my arm like a maniac and they slowed just as my arm was beginning to get tired.
Now this is my kind of instrument. Let me show you how this bass works…
Now it’s time for a little remix…a little less vocal…and a lot more bass! Sounds perfect!
On to the Tinker Toy exhibit…I think it’s going to fall…?
Can you see me now?
Check out this scale. It says Mama weighs just under 80 pounds…something seems fishy here!!!
Now we’re off to the post office. No talking or distracting me…I’m a government worker and I work extra hard to earn those tax dollars!
Yeah! Papa’s appointment is over already. Let’s take a ride on the giant train!
I think I need to catch my breath for a bit. Be right back!
This is the body/digestion exhibit. You collect different colored balls (for water, protein, carbs, minerals)…
and then you walk around and into the mouth and put the balls in their respective tubes. As they go down the tube, you hear the noise your body makes inside…
and out! (Of course this one was my favorite!)
Papa and I check our 911 speed dialing. I seem to be right on track!
Now, let’s go find some patients. Mama, will you be our patient? (“No way!!”)
I think I’m not really interested in journalism just yet…
But I totally wouldn’t mind working at a bank. You’d get a computer, a phone AND a calculator!
Now, how do I get some money out of this thing…
Time to go home! Uh-oh…I think we wore Papa out!
Now…for the moment you’ve been waiting for…
Our completed GIANT cupcake! Thanks Papa…it was yummy! Have a great weekend…and if you’re having trouble keeping your pants off the ground give our answering machine a call—we’ve made a special jingle just for you! We’ll see you next week!
One Man Band and A Cake?
I’ve got the music started…1-2-3-4
I love the cymbals!
Check this out…I can even play the drums with my eyes closed!
Now I need to set up the keyboard…
Yep, that sounds perfect! Hey Grandpa Sam…let’s duet during your next visit!
Woo-hoo…family game night! Mama even made not really chicken chili! (ooh, that rhymed!)
Uncle Pete and Aunt Robyn even brought over a few of their games…hmmm…what’s this Jewish Old Maid business???
Hey! No peeking—unless you can clearly pronounce everything in my hand!
What a great night!!
Papa and are going to bake our first cake ever…for either one of us! Uhm, Papa…Mama never uses scissors!
Hmm…where did I put that bowl again?
Mama let’s me do it by myself, Papa!
Trying—to—avoid—egg—GOO…ARGGHH!
At last…I get to do it all by myself!
to be continued…
Happy New Year’s Everybody!
If only you could hear our horns… :)
Introducing…a needs-mega-work mother and son circus act…

drumroll…
Uh-oh…
uh-oh…

Yeah…a two-foot landing!!!
Well, at least it was really fun! We hope everyone had a ball droppin’ bang of a New Years. Don’t forget to check the post below…in case you missed it. Have a great week and we’ll see you next weekend!
