We put our Christmas tree up…woo-hoo! And of course I was a beautiful cooperative angel!

I also got to go to an awesome birthday party this past weekend for a preschool friend.

He even had cupcakes with Star Wars rings on them. I picked Darth Vader, of course!

We also got our first measurable snow!

Next thing I knew…it was Turkey Day! Isn’t ours beautiful?

Mama even went the traditional way this year…except for this really yummy walnut/blueberry salad.

It was totally delicious!

We made our annual Turkey Day trip to the zoo and even saw a couple of new things!

Hmm…I spy…a green and red poison dart frog!

I think the lion ate too much turkey!!!

Saturday morning we watched an awesome shadow puppet performance by Daniel Barash and then came home to create our own version. Can you guess the characters in our show?

What a great holiday weekend. I wish every weekend was a holiday weekend! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We’ll see you next week!
