Maddie finally turned 4…so now we are the same age. Check out the awesome birthday cake her Mama made. (This is who helps my Mama make really cool birthday cakes!)

Hayden and I decided to take a break from the princess explosion and headed for the jumper…

AND eat some cake of course!! What a great party!

Auntie Robyn took me out for a night on the town…so, I got to ride in her car. I was excited, but also bummed that I did not get to ride in the front seat. I know, I know…not until I’m 18 or whatever!

This past weekend was also the Middleton Good Neighbor Festival. We came to check out the big parade and met up with Maddie (and Family) and Maddie’s neighbors too.

We had a blast trying to pick up treats off the pavement.

We even saw Bucky do a handstand in the middle of the road…

Dude! Don’t drop her…that pavement would hurt!

Katie tried to spook us with her cow mask…

Maddie and I agreed to vote for Senator Feingold…whoever that is!

Papa said when he was little he wanted to grow up and be a stilt walker, but then he decided to get college degrees in Physics and Engineering instead. How crazy!

I think I might grow up to be a clown. They get to wear costumes everyday and have their faces painted…what could be better than that?

Who wants treats when you can get free shades??? I hope everyone had a great week. NEWS FLASH: I told Mama this past week that for my next birthday party I want to have an 80s Rocker costume party (in fact, I’m hoping Santa brings me a pair of zebra leggings!). So, in case you find yourself in town next March…you better be ready as this gives you lots and lots of time to plan your costumes!! We’ll see you next week!

Long last…we have reached the Mackinac bridge…time for a quickie celebratory guitar solo!

Michigan trip = bizarre Michigan sight seeing opportunities. The whole crew traveled to Indian River to see the “Cross in the Woods”, which is the largest crucifix around. Also, below the crucifix there are a lot of bricks etched with various names…including some of Papa’s family members that have died from cancer.

Meet cousins Aidan (age 11) and Emmett (age 7). Let Boys outside…they will find rocks. (Don’t look Mama!)

The big boys showed me how to play a couple of different video games….sort of. I think I need to work on the coordination part.

74 degrees, 20 mph wind…perfect conditions for swimming in smaller Burt Lake…maybe?

I think Papa may have had the better idea…

But I’m crazy enough to give it a try! Brrrr!!!

This is called Resort Pike. This is a park right on Walloon Lake where Papa loved to go swimming when he was a boy. It has really changed since he was little. There’s even a sidewalk now!

Ahhh…those were the days.

Yeah, I could live here.

Rare family photo moment! A guy spotted us from his boat and came through the water to ask us if we’d like him to take a picture. What planet are we on? :)

Shhh…don’t tell anyone, but Grandpa Bill took us for a ride in his Camaro. AND since there are no airbags I got to ride in the front seat! Woo hoo! Let’s go faster, Grandpa!

In an attempt to postpone getting back into our car (on the way home) Papa and I had a little Tee Pee dance off!

“are you lookin’ at me?” Apparently while we were in Michigan our tomatoes grew personalities, which made them even tastier, of course! Thanks to everyone for a great MI trip we had a rockin’ good time. Thanks for checking out my website…we’ll see you next week!

Kyle and Bruce came over to play last weekend…so that their Mama and Papa could finally go and see the new Harry Potter movie. I think we look like the next up and coming boy band…what do you think?

We had a blast trying to decide who would run and get wet in the sprinkler first.

Bruce mostly sat on the sideline watching…and practicing saying “cheese” of course!

After awhile, Mama came up with this really cool idea. She put the water hose on my yellow slide and turned it into a waterslide!

I don’t know how she got this shot! The slide was so slippery and cold (from 45 degree well water) it propelled me into the air!

Kyle and I both squealed at the shock of cold water upon impact, but we had to keep going down again and again and again… for over an hour!

It didn’t take long for us to have a waterslide and muddy yard, but we didn’t mind. It just meant that we could slide down and chant about our dirty butts…

while Bruce watched…still practicing his “cheese” face.

Once we tired out…we decided to go in side and chill some more by watching part of Frosty the Snowman. What a day!

When Heather brought the boys over she also brought us some homemade zucchini bread. It was so good I decided to make some for myself for breakfast every morning until it was gone.

Oh great…Mama got up to take a picture and left me a bite…ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Today Mama and I must have been thinking alike. We dressed wearing the same clothes, but flipped the top vs. bottom. (P.S. Look at how tan Mama is! I don’t think she’s been this tan in the last 8 years…and she’s been wearing sunscreen!)

WARNING: Don’t try this at home folks! I’m jumping and making faces at the same time! I bet you can’t do that!

Yes, it is 2009. So, yes, that means I know what a computer is and how to use one (possibly better than Mama). I found this really cool website where I get to design my own robot, print it and then color it anyway I want. I can also click a button and make him dance. It’s soooo cool.

JUST IN CASE YOU THOUGHT I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW MUCH I LOVE KISS….

I convinced Mama to make me Gene/Demon spikes (out of cardboard and foil). She’s the most creative person I know…I swear!
