Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog!

pic 1
Mama and I went for a scenic bike ride at one of our parks.

pic 1
I was a little concerned about some darker clouds overhead—apparently I melt in rain—but they turned out to be nothing.

pic 1
Which is great…because I was not ready to stop yet.

pic 1
During our bike ride (while I was pedaling too slow for Mama to even walk) we heard and then saw a really large frog.

pic 1
We’ve decided to replace our deck…and this is what it looks like right now!

pic 1
We’ve also gotten enough rain and sun lately that our tomatoes are growing like crazy. We can barely eat the large ones fast enough right now. They are soooo delicious!

pic 1
Auntie Robyn came to watch my swim lessons today…

pic 1
So, I showed her all of my moves.

pic 1
Chop, chop…TIMBER! (I have no idea either.)

pic 1
Mama and Auntie Robyn have decided that I am big enough to make my own cupcakes.

pic 1
Noooo…I don’t make messes!

pic 1
Well, maybe that depends on what you call a mess! Regardless…the cupcakes were very tasty!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. We’ll see you next week. (P.S. The post should appear on Sat. instead of Sun. as we will be heading north to MI first thing Sunday morning!)

Send Me Some 80s…please?

pic 1
Mother Nature has not been listening to my request for warmer weather. Despite this fact, I am still following through with my swim lessons. I ask about them every day!

pic 1
Once you get into the water it’s not too bad.

pic 1
Especially if you’re completely under water. Auntie Robyn says I’m preparing for the polar plunge they do here in Madison in February. I think she might be right!

pic 1
Ooooh…a warm and toasty jacket! Well, uhm, how does this thing work exactly?

pic 1
A neighbor invited us over this past week for a water playdate on a warmer (as in 72 instead of 62) day of ours. I wasn’t sure about getting wet at first…

pic 1
but in the end I just couldn’t say no. Wheeeee!

pic 1
Kyle showed off some of his tricks too!

pic 1
We also had a playdate with last year’s preschool buddies. I think we broke the Guinness Book record for greatest number of kids on a teeter totter…what do you think?

pic 1
pic 1
Maddie and I also played house for awhile. We were pretending to take naps. Now…if we’d only take naps that easily in real life…

pic 1
Hayden and I also showed off some of our break dancing moves. It’s too bad we have to be 18 before we can dance on the TV shows!

pic 1
This is Hayden. He is carrying his baby. He used to carry this baby under his shirt, but now he likes to carry her on his back. I think it is the funniest thing!

pic 1
I’m such a pro…that my new soccer shoes poked holes in my beloved 5T (slightly too big) rocker black pants. What can I say…it’s part of the job!

pic 1
Okay…it’s all official now. Mama and I found a really cool pair of shin guards at a garage sale!!! My outfit is now complete!

pic 1
To complete our week…Mama, Papa and I and Auntie Robyn and Uncle Pete all went to a Madison Mallards baseball game. In fact, all of the game tickets proceeds went to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure organization! It was a blast—they even played a KISS song. What a great way to end the weekend. I hope you all had a great weekend too. We’ll see you next week!

You’re Never Too Young or Old for a KISS!

pic 1
Aunt Robyn and Uncle Pete surprised me last week with new soccer shoes. They are red with white stripes and the perfect size. Don’t they look awesome?

pic 1
I think they give me special powers too. I mean look at this high-kick…I’m sure I won’t be able to do that forever!

pic 1
Uhm, I love you Auntie Robyn, but I think you need to leave the soccer to me and Uncle Pete!!!

pic 1
Yes, I am standing next to Chuck E. Cheese and yes I know what you’re all thinking, but seriously…it’s so much fun there!!!

pic 1
Maddie and I even had a car race…sort of. (P.S. The funny thing that this picture does not tell…is that Mama was actually crazy enough to put 2 tokens into these machines…not fully comprehending the fact that our cars were just going to sit idle because neither Maddie nor I could reach the gas pedals! Duh! Mama!)

pic 1
Katie was apparently in the midst of the same line of thinking when she strapped all of us onto this chair for a simulated roller coaster ride—thank goodness we all loved the ride!

pic 1
This is Hayden and Nolan not smiling…and not climbing on the giant SCOOP replica!

pic 1
Allright…who snuck in my room when I was sleeping??? Seriously…is nothing private anymore?

pic 1
After waiting a few really long days…I finally got to wear my new soccer shoes.

pic 1
In fact, while standing around the water cooler a few of my buddies asked where I got my new shoes. They were clearly jealous.

pic 1
And who said you don’t need arms and hands for soccer?

pic 1
AND maybe a little personality too!

pic 1
After WEEKS of endless begging…Mama finally painted my face like Paul. Check out my new dance moves:

pic 1
The cool thing is you can watch me dance in slow or fast motion…just move your mouse up and down!

pic 1
I think I still need to work on my pucker. Maybe I’ll practice by blowing Aunt Tammy (and Grandma Kathy) some birthday kisses! I hope you all had a great week. Thanks for stopping by. We’ll see you next week.

Happy 4th of July – Part II!

pic 1
Papa and I have been lighting sparklers and snap-its off and on all week.

pic 1
Papa was showing me how important it is to keep it away from my body…

pic 1
and I think in general I did a great job!

pic 1
I have finally decided that it’s okay to get sand on me!

This past week I also started my outdoor swim lessons—and boy was it chilly! We didn’t even hit 70 until Friday! Mama swears it’s not going to be that cold next week, but I’m not sure!

pic 1
Now you see me…

pic 1
now you don’t!

pic 1
In an effort to get us used to the frigid water our coach made us do 10 jellyfish bobs. I think it worked!

pic 1
But then it was freezing cold when we got out of the pool! Brrr!

pic 1
CANON BALL!

pic 1
We also got to see a big fireworks show in nearby Cross Plains. They have a big show for such a small town (less than 4000) people. I can’t wait!

pic 1
Still waiting!!!

pic 1
I even brought my headphones just in case…

pic 1
WOW! It was worth the wait! I hope everyone had a poppin’ good 4th of July. Mine sure was a blast! Thank you for stopping by and we’ll see you next week!
