We spent this past week at the Reuhl cabin in Eagle River, WI with Mama, Katie, Maddie & Hayden. It was a blast. You won’t believe all of the things we did and how many of them were firsts for me!

I went swimming in a lake for the first time…

I rode in a speed boat for the first time…

I jumped on a trampoline in a lake for the first time…

and Mama and I rode a jet-ski together for the first time! I think that’s the most ‘firsts’ covered in one day for me—ever!

Maddie and I cheered on Katie as she attempted jumping into the slightly chilly water. (91 degrees outside, 70 something in the water)

Later, we were crazy enough to get into the hot tub too. (90 degrees outside, 90 degrees in the water)

All of that swimming made us hungry and ready for something cold to eat!

What better way for a beautiful day to end than with this sunset…wasn’t it amazing?

We also traveled to Bond Falls State Park in Paulding, MI (right inside the U.P. border). There were lots of trails for us to walk on…

and they all ended at an absolutely amazing waterfall.

Of course we made a couple of extra stops along the way. We’re the king and queen of the world and Hayden can be our jester!

Back at the cabin we spent a lot of time playing on the swing set—Hayden even tried pushing Maddie and I to get us started.

We had an absolutely amazing time…crazy faces included. Thank you to the Reuhls for sharing such a fun place with us!

The only boring part was the ride home, but thank goodness Mama had her cellphone. I was able to catch up with my homies and find out everything that happened while I was on vacation!

AND NOW…for the part you’ve all been waiting for…YOU WANTED THE BEST…YOU GOT THE BEST!!! THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD…KISS!!!

Well, that is us posing as devoted KISS fans. Papa and I went to my first KISS concert ever last night (Saturday) at Milwaukee’s Summerfest. Let’s go!!!

We’ve got our Gene tongues ready…what else could we need??? The KISS concert was awesome—I even made it through 2 hours of late night music (with headphones of course!). Everyone at Summerfest thought I was the cutest fan and even told Papa he was ‘raisin’ me right’ by taking me to see KISS. I’m going to remember it forever! I hope everyone’s week rocked as much as mine. We’ll see you next week!

Don’t let Mama see, but I think my train track system has attacked the family room. Aaaaah!

Kyle and I decided we need some water after all of that spinning.

Ok, now it’s time for a hardcore game of soccer! Watch out Hayden…I mean business!

Mama and Aunt Robyn had a monstrous garage sale fundraiser this past weekend for Aunt Robyn’s upcoming Breast Cancer 3Day. (Yes, she signed up to walk 60 miles in 3 days—the bubbles have penetrated!) Our friend, Katie stopped by to do some early shopping and surprised us with ice cream and champagne—it was delicious!

I helped out by putting pink garage sale flyers in people’s newspaper boxes, which was really fun until Mama and Aunt Robyn let me ride my bike down a hill, causing me to go extremely fast and eventually lose control and be thrown from the bike. Good thing I had my helmet on!

I also helped out by showing everyone how all of the toys/items worked.

The garage sale was exhausting. I think we should at least wait a month before we do that again!

The cause was certainly worth it though. Thank you to everyone that helped! Stay tuned for next week… I may have pictures from my first rock concert ever (it’s a secret as to who) and another visit to the Reuhl’s cabin up north in Eagle River. Have a great week!

So, I got a haircut! And usually to celebrate…Mama let’s me have a small treat of some sort.

but what she doesn’t realize is that…

I love getting my haircut. I get to watch the hair dresser and stare at myself in the mirror at the same time…who wouldn’t love that?

So, the treat is just an added bonus. Shhh…don’t tell her though. :)

Uhm, how many years did you say I might be chased by girls???

This is Lydia and she went to our preschool last year. She is starting kindergarten this fall. I think she’s fun to play with at the park…although she insists on chasing me everywhere and she is constantly asking me questions! Cease and desist, woman!

She just climbed all the way up, but I decided I needed some further thought.

Hmmm. Is this structure really safe? Look at how big these holes are…I can totally fall through…and what about the unpredictable nature of the other kids on here too? Should I really keep going?

Of course! As Julia Roberts would say…the top “is the best”.

Oooh…Ahhhh…the moment felt right.

Mama painted my fingernails in support of Idol’s Adam (a couple of weeks ago)…I think next time we’ll have to do my toes too.
