We’re here and we’re putting up the tents…

Well, for the most part. I had to balance out helper activities with toddler activities.

Technically this is Auntie Robyn’s tent, but I had to check and make sure it was set up properly.

This is Mama and I’s tent. It practically popped up all by itself…

Well, I had to adjust a few things Auntie Robyn forgot. hee hee

Now it’s time for the sleeping bags…

Sheesh! Who stuffed this thing in here instead of rolling it???

Yeah, uhm…really no words here. The fresh air has penetrated Mama’s brain!

Auntie Robyn brought me a juicy hot dog for dinner…so as a favor I thought I’d rub her head while it was cooking.

This is the best hot dog and chocolate milk ever (none of that chicken and zucchini stuff for me today.)!!

Despite the birds and the bugs I am totally ready for bed. Just as long as I have my blankie and a flashlight.

Mama and Auntie Robyn stayed up late, but the only pictures available are these campfire ones…I wonder what they were doing all that time???

Now back to the toddler activities: Auntie Robyn draw 2 tents, and a campfire, and a sun, and grass, and mud, and people and moving chairs, and….”Bug, I don’t think anything else is going to fit on here!”

Aunt Robyn and I had a berry good time…

We had a rockin’ good time.

This past weekend we also had the Foxman’s over for a low maintenance grill-out. I think it was fun to get to sit at the kid table! (That’s Kyle and his little brother, Bruce.)

We also rode our bicycles together through an orange cone obstacle course…

which was totally awesome!…

even Bruce gave it a try!

Later, we cooled off with some mini-water guns. (Dear Mama, I think we’re big enough for the super soakers now…seriously what’s with these little 4oz guns???)

May also means an occasional 80 degree day, which means water sprinkler time!

No really…I won’t get you wet (Mama & Gran’Mary)!!!

May also means I feel sad (and so does Mama) as preschool is over for the summer. We even had a really cool graduation ceremony.

I showed all of the other kids exactly what we were supposed to do…

or not! (Yes, I am a product of both Mama & Papa!) I have other good news to share too…Mama drove her car for the first time in over 3 weeks this past weekend…so that means she’s finally getting better! yeah! I hope everyone had a great Memorial Weekend. Until next time…

Well, we are back. It’s been 2.5 weeks and Mama is finally feeling good enough to start up my posts again. It was a little weird seeing Mama lay in bed all day for what seemed like forever, but I knew she’d get up eventually. So, I offered my hand and told her I’d help…and I think I really did! So, here is our first start-up post with 3 week old pictures. Enjoy!

Today is crazy hair day at preschool…so I asked for ROCKSTAR hair. What do you think…am I ready for American Idol?

I went bowling for the first time ever with Katie, Maddie & Hayden and we had the best time ever!

We each picked out a bowling ball…

and then we each attempted to carry our balls—8lbs is heavy!!

Uh-oh, don’t drop it!

Since we are kids we have special bowling tools…like this ramp…

and bumpers on the side.

But even with the help it took more skill than I realized to knock down those pins—or maybe a little luck (as I get my first spare).

Sometimes it was hard to wait my turn…(p.s. look at how tall and thin I’m getting!!)

but there were all kinds of things to keep me busy (and cool).

All in all I think we did a great job! Thank you Katie…what a great idea…let’s go again soon! I hope everyone has had a great May. I’ve missed you all and can’t wait to share more pics this Sunday too!
