I think Luke Skywalker called…he seems to be missing an Ewok and a light saber!

So…Mama got this great idea…that we should burn our prairie. AND amazingly enough she also convinced our neighbor to burn hers the same night.

Despite a couple of close calls…burning the backyards went great! Uhm…Papa…you’re getting a little close! Sorry you had to miss out Uncle Nathan!

In fact, it kept us all warm on a pretty chilly night…

and brought out some new neighbors and slightly increased drive-by traffic on our 2 cul-de-sacs!

The town crew also came by and chopped up the rest of our 2 trees. We certainly got our moneys worth out of them for the day!

And of course…what better way to end a tree chop down and backyard burn fest…but with a new layer of snow???

In case you didn’t get enough of us last week…we have a few more family pics to share. Cousin Aby and I blew bubbles on the deck…and I’m pretty sure her lips must be different from mine because I couldn’t get more than one bubble at a time!

Aby also showed us all kinds of jungle gym tricks while she was here…

and Mama gave us an extra short wagon rides around the house!

I think I miss eating with Aby the most…it’s so lonely eating snacks by myself!

I also miss having someone around to discuss everything…like our zoo animals!

AND of course I also miss playing family band with Gran’Mary on the drums!

named Cyber…who is virtually impossible to photograph! She doesn’t sit still for even one minute! Well, we hope you enjoyed everything we did this past week as much as we did! Don’t forget to come back next week!

Well…we had one heck of a week! With all of the family here we decided it was the perfect time to chop down 2 dead 20 year old white pine trees. If this photo doesn’t represent a Tim Allen moment…I don’t know what does!! arrrgh!

We even used a lot of the dead wood to create a bonfire—for those of you connected to the family, we’ll give you only one guess as to who STARTED this fire…

We even got to stay up late and roast marshmallows…it was awesome!

Uncle Nathan also gave us rides on our lawnmower…

he even let Cousin Aby and I steer!

The weather was absolutely incredible. We had mostly 50s and 60s…even Aby got to take her coats off! We enjoyed having an outdoor picnic…although the wind kept blowing the curtains and Aby insisted on having them open. What is it with girls and opening the curtains for sunlight??

Of course we took everyone to the zoo…

and finally got to see our new Siberian tiger, but you’ll have to wait until next week to see her photos!

I even brought Aby to preschool with me–we had a great time!

When it was a little too chilly in the morning to go outside we pullled out the board games…

and even decorated Easter cookies. We had to keep our eyes on the adults though…they were eating them as fast as we were decorating them!

It was fun having Uncle Nathan around…he really spices things up. Although I think he’s still a little bit disappointed about losing to me in our tickle fight. :)

I think I may have convinced Aby that doctors and pirates are more fun than princesses…

but I’m not totally sure. But seriously, how could anyone choose Ariel over a Spidey-pirate???

Mama and Uncle Nathan made veggie sushi one night. It looked really cool and they even made us kids pb&j versions, but I had to say no to seaweed…and ate a grilled cheese instead.

It was downright chilly before Aby and Nathan got here…it’s a good thing they brought the warm weather with them!

Although I had a bit of an attitude at times, all in all I had a really good time with everyone that was here…

and I’m pretty sure that I’m already missing Cousin Aby’s unpredictable hugs! I hope everyone enjoyed the post! Don’t forget to come back next week to check out our new tiger’s pics!

March has sure started off with some very interesting weather. Check out that layer of ice on our tree!

Last week we put on a special Family Day Program at preschool. They called it “Pre-School Musical”. It took us a few weeks to learn all of the songs and body movements, but it was really fun.

What do you mean not everyone can just fold in half like this?

I think I’ve also decided who my favorite American Idol is…Adam ROCKS!!!

Now for the fun stuff! Mama made me the best cake ever for my birthday party.

There were a lot of really AMAZING superhero costumes!

Mama even tried to surprise me by putting trick candles on the cake! Silly Mama!!

We also played a few games (like musical chairs) to special superhero music…

And I got to open a lot of really cool presents…

Including my first ever remote control car from Aidan and Zachary. (ps. I’ve been driving it non-stop for 2 days now!)

All in all it was an amazing day and now I get to spend a whole week with Gran’Mary, Grandpa Dave, Uncle Nathan and Cousin Aby. Yee haw!!

Are you ready for the biggest post ever? What can I say…I had a very busy BIRTHDAY!!!

I went to preschool in the morning…dressed like Batman (with a little bit of Mama’s creativity).

I think the cape even made the slide a little faster…

Oh yeah!!! Thank you for the awesome cape, Judy!!!

A little bit later it was snack time…and I showed off my awesome Batman cake. (Thank you, Mama & Katie!!!)

It rocked!!!

In fact it was so awesome…that I didn’t want to light the candles on it! So, I blew out the candles on the preschool’s birthday cake instead. I blew them all out with one breath! (The really awesome crown on my head was made by one of my teachers. I had originally picked pink for my crown color, but that was before I realized they had BLACK!)

I even brought a black Spider-Man and showed everyone how he rolls/climbs across the floor during show and tell.

After preschool Mama and I picked up Aunt Robyn and ate lunch at one of my favorite places with Papa, Uncle Pete and Katie, Maddie & Hayden.

I even got to open some presents…

before we ate!

When Papa got home after work…I got to open more cards and presents. “Look, this one had $2 in it… can we go to Toys-R-Us and buy a toy NOW??”

Whoa! You won’t believe what Mama and Papa got me (the expression says it all)…drum roll…

My very own ELECTRIC GUITAR!!! Let’s ROCK!

I also got some really cool books…

although I’m not sure about a couple of them. “NO Girls Allowed”??? Seriously, Mama. I like girls!!

Mama and Papa even surprised me by putting up a couple of birthday party decorations early…I can’t wait until next weekend!!! Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday. It was the best day ever! We’ll see you all next week.

Ladies and gentlemen…introducing…Nolan Senecal…who is now officially…4!!!!

Since it is my birthday, Mama decided to try something new…and make me a really cool Batman cake for my birthday celebration at preschool.

It was a very big idea…and a very big project!

I played and cuddled with Maddie and Hayden while Mama and Katie created!

And boy…it was a masterpiece! But you’ll have to wait until Sunday to see the completed cake! hee hee

Here we are on our way to preschool…and there’s something really cool hanging out from under my coat…but you’ll have to wait until Sunday to see the complete outfit! hee hee

It was a most excellent preschool day…I can’t imagine what today is going to be like! (yes, my head is really resting on that wooden bar!!)
