Mama and I made colored pancakes in honor of the upcoming Christmas holiday!

They were very, very, very, very, very….

delicioso!

Aunt Robyn and Uncle Pete Fortlage came over for a pajama/breakfast Christmas get together…and Pete made everyone breakfast!

It was the best breakfast ever!

Afterwards we made an attempt at a family photo…you can see how that went! :)

I gave Mama and Papa a present that I made at preschool. It is a calendar. Each month has a picture using my hand print (and one footprint).

We opened some presents too…and I think Papa wasn’t too sure about Aunt Robyn’s chick flicks from her mom!

Aunt Robyn and Uncle Pete got Mama this really cool water utility belt. Well, that’s what I call it, anyway. It’s something she can use to drink water while jogging…or being silly!

For Christmas Mama, Papa and I hung out at home and made a mess of old and new toys! I got this cool Batman toy from Grandma Lily and Grandpa Bill. I’ve been wanting it for months!

Grandma Lily and Grandpa Bill also got me this really cool Globe. Now, if I could just figure out where Sydney, Australia is!

Papa and I read my new superhero book. The book is split into 3 separate sections so that you can mix and match superhero body parts. If you have Iron Man’s head, Hulk’s chest and Wolverine’s feet you can call him Ironhulkine!

After Christmas dinner we all ate Apple pie a la mode. Me? Papa? No way are we related!

WHOA! Santa really can fit down our chimney!

After Christmas we had a surprise warm up. Our 40 inches of snow melted a bit and we received about one inch of a rain/ice combo. I decided it was the perfect day to go puddle jumping in my rain gear.

Doo doo doo…la dee da…shim sharoo…

This is called 30 inches of snow already…and December isn’t over yet!

The neighborhood kids built this awesome snow tunnel out of our snow drifts—I visited it every day—until it got somewhat destroyed by a slight warm up and then more snow!

Houston, we have a problem!

Aunt Robyn & Uncle Pete took me ice skating for the first time ever…and standing up was okay…

but actually moving was a whole other story!

Afterwards we went back to their place to toast marshmallows and make s’mores. They were delicioso!

Maddie, Hayden and I visited the train show at our Olbrich Botanical Gardens…there was even an Oscar Mayer weiner mobile train car!

We also made clothespin reindeer…

dropped coins in the pond as we made our wishes…

and watched our hair curl in the really humid greenhouse!

Bring on the holiday season…I’m ready!

And then there was even more snow! Yes, the patterns in the snow are from our garage door…

No, snow throwers don’t really want to have to work this hard…

and yes, our driveway is in there somewhere! If we go a week or two without any posts…it’s because we’re buried and we can’t get up! Have a wonderful Sunday…and check back soon for more Christmas/Holiday posts!

ROAD TRIP!!! Mama and I went on a small road trip with our friends, Kristen, Aidan and Zachary Blotz. We drove north to the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

After we checked in to our hotel room, we stripped to our swimsuits and ran towards the waterpark— hurry up, Mama & Kristen!!!

Check out this awesome elevator…we can watch the floors go by!

Holy Cow…I think we’ve hit the MOTHERLOAD!!!

Okay…I think the shock has worn off…let’s go down the lazy river!

Now it’s time for a boat ride…Mama isn’t so sure about this, but I’m ready to go!

You did it, Mama! It was great!

I got to go down again with Kristen too!

We’re giving Mama quite the work out!

We decided to warm up a bit in one of the many hot tubs. There were lots of bubbles floating around…

the Blotzs got bubble-fied!

After playing for over 3 hours we went back to the hotel room to take a break and eat some food! (Thank you again to Kristen…as Mama left all of our food neatly packed in our refrigerator!!)

Whoa…dude…check out those waves, man!

Ready for round 2…we took turns pretending to be sharks. Look…an unsuspecting foot…yum!

This is the wave pool…it was AWESOME. There was a buzzer that would sound and then the waves would start rolling in one right after the other. It took some practice, but after some time I became a very good seawall. Check this out…

After a couple of more hours…we’d had enough and returned to the hot tub one last time. Thank you to the Blotzs for taking us with you…we had a wonderful time! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I see small people!

We received even more snow this past week…and it’s been really friggin’ cold…but up here in WI that only means one thing…LET’S GO SLEDDING!!!

This year it took no time at all to warm up to the big Foxman sledding hill. In fact, I said I wanted to go even faster!

Kyle tried some of his new tricks out too…he is definitely a pro!

Eric and Heather had a great run too…

although I think something may have happened mid-hill…Eric arose with reindeer antlers!!

Speaking of Reindeer antlers…I received some balloon antlers at a santa pajama party at our mall!

For all of you newbie parents out there…take note…this is the best it’s going to get in terms of “trying to take a photo of your kid with Santa!”

Katie and her family met us there too…I think these too Libras drank from the same cup!

Who knew…that the best remedy for waiting in a long line…is to make your funniest face, ever!

It was certainly all worth the wait!

We also saw Ronald McDonald while we were there. We thought he looked kinda funny…

and apparently he felt the same way about us!

Once the long lines were over we were finally able to enjoy our balloon creations…

and create a little balloonmania…

ahhh…the candy canes are making my antlers sticky!! Where is PETA when you need them??? I hope you all had a great weekend. We’ll see you next time!
