Paper Turkey Drool?

pic 1
I’m about to eat a bunch of black olives. This has always been a process for me, but now that I’m 3.5 years old…I’ve perfected this process and thought I would share it with all of you.

pic 1
First you have to have at least 5 black olives so that you can put one on each of your fingers. Then, you have to close your eyes and eat them off one at a time.

pic 1
Oh yeah…and don’t forget to roll your eyes at least once per olive….”duh…of course these olives taste great”….

pic 1
And last, but not least, have a napkin ready for that occasional drool that you just can’t contain!

pic 1
Now, that I think about it…I think everything is a process these days. Mama and I made these paper turkeys this past week…

pic 1
and Mama said I was having a few OCD moments.

pic 1
I couldn’t help it…I just wanted the lid on the glue stick before I did anything else! Even if that meant the applied glue dried (while I was trying to get the lid on) and would have to be reapplied. Did I mention that Mama seems to have a lot of patience???

pic 1
I think it was all worth it…

pic 1
check out my awesome paper turkey!!!

pic 1
In fact, I think Mama was just in some kind of turkey mood this past week. We even drew chalk turkeys on our drive-way just in time for the rain to come! (oops!)

pic 1
Who knew a paper turkey would make such a great hat? I hope you all have a great week…and go ahead…let out your inner wild side and make a paper turkey hat too! See you next week!

Imagination Moving Snow!!

pic 1
It snowed! Well, okay it was really just flurries, but still. We all had slightly white grass and completely white roofs. I think that’s enough for me to call it snow. Now, if we could just get enough to go sledding!

pic 1
Now, that Halloween is over I wake up everyday from my nap and perform a ritual in the remembrance of such a wonderful holiday. How, you might ask? By carefully selecting a treat from my treat bucket. As you will see…this task is not as easy as it sounds! (ps. I think I see a hair cut in my very near future.)

pic 1
First, I have to think about what I’m in the mood for.

pic 1
Then I have to carefully move all the treats around…

pic 1
and around…exploring all of my options.

pic 1
AND if that doesn’t work…then as a last resort I dump all of my treats out on the table…

pic 1
and at last make a final decision. YUM!

pic 1
Confused? Well, let me explain!

pic 1
These guys you see on our TV are called the Imagination Movers. They are dads that wanted to make something musically fun for their kids and others as well. I think I’m in love. The coolest part is that these pjs look just like their blue jumpsuits (and I just happened to have an orange hat like Dave) so I feel like one of the band members!

pic 1
Their music makes me want to sing and shout…

pic 1
go surfing…

pic 1
and get up and dance! Mama also recently discovered their music CDs at our library…so now it’s Imagination Movers (& KISS) 24/7! If you don’t know who they are…check their website out:www.imaginationmovers.com

pic 1
Can you believe I drew this all by myself? I’ve been experimenting a lot and this is a yellow picture of Mama. The resemblance is so strong…I think we’re going to have to frame it!

pic 1
Shhh….I have a little secret to tell you. Uncle Pete’s birthday is this week and we got him this really cool hat. Only it was upstairs in a box and I dug it out and started running around like a maniac saying it was my hat…

pic 1
I hope he doesn’t mind…because I don’t think I’m giving it back! Have a great Sunday and we’ll see you next week!

Happy Halloween!!!

But first…let’s get you caught up!
pic 1
I had a small stint pretending to be Gran’Mary (she loves to wear this hat when she comes to visit).

pic 1
I’m sure she makes silly faces like this too!

pic 1
I also went to the Univ. of Wisconsin homecoming parade.

pic 1
It was great! They passed out treats and everyone was playing our token song “Jump Around”…

pic 1
Can you believe this guy was jumping around on rollerblades? He’s crazy!!

pic 1
After weeks of begging Mama…I finally got my KISS face painted.

pic 1
It looked awesome!

pic 1
The only thing I’m missing are my drums!

pic 1
I also went to my first Halloween party ever…

pic 1
and it was awesome! We danced and partied all night!

pic 1
I’m the HUMAN TORCH!!! I love you all, but watch out for my fireballs!

pic 1
pic 1
pic 1
Naptime? No way! I’m ready to go to preschool today!

pic 1
We’re supposed to be having quiet circle time, but it’s so hard to focus when you’re feeling hot.

pic 1
We even had a really cool parade today at preschool—where we walked in circles to the music of “The Monster Mash” (and then promptly removed our costumes!).

pic 1
We also did the Halloween “Hokie Pokie”…well, at least a slightly modified version. The “Hokie Pokie” looks really funny when you don’t know your left from your right!

pic 1
On Halloween day, Katie, Maddie, Hayden, Mama and I went on a tour of the large No. 1 Fire Station downtown. We had a lot of fun and even got free firemen hats!

pic 1
Mama and I took the ladder truck for a spin. The steering wheel was huge!

pic 1
Since I’ve been doing so well in swimming lessons…I thought maybe I could join the boat rescue squad!

pic 1
Aunt Robyn and I carved our pumpkin this year. Can you guess who he’s supposed to be??? I’ll give you a hint. His initials are PS and he’s in a band!

pic 1
Finally, Halloween night came and I got to go TRICK OR TREATING!!! (Bring on the chocolate!!)

pic 1
Aunt Robyn came (she really likes chocolate too) and she had CRAZY green hair!

pic 1
This house is really close to our house. We’ve been looking at the decorations for 2 weeks now. They had lollipops and although Mama wasn’t that excited I was ecstatic! I love lollipops!!!!!

pic 1
We also met up with Kyle and his family. We certainly kept the neighbors on their feet!

pic 1
We stopped at the neighborhood’s haunted garage.

pic 1
They don’t spook us younger kids too much, but they really get the big kids and the Mama’s and Papa’s. Mama saw something moving and ran away!

pic 1
I guess you could say I’ve had a busy October! Thank you to everyone for all of the fun. The website seems to be perfect thanks to Uncle Nathan…so don’t forget to come back next week! Have a great week and don’t forget to VOTE on Tuesday!
