Well, now that we’ve got the “theme” ideas out of our system…we’re ready to move on. Although I can say it was great to see so many comments! Good to know that you’re all still coming back for more!

I got a surprise box in the mail from Uncle Nathan and Cousin Aby this past week. Check out this rocket ship!
Mama only got this picture because she grabbed the camera for the picture above. What’s really funny and must be mentioned–this is totally an Uncle Nathan idea. It’s up to you to decide whether or not I’m about to sit or fart on the red blob to make the rocket go. :) hee hee
There are no more words…really.

This past Thursday I went with my friends, Maddie and Hayden to the Madison Children’s Museum. I don’t know if Maddie is much of a dancing queen, but she is definitely a shopping queen!
The next set of pictures should be viewed consecutively and as fast as you can move your mouse knob or arrow keys! I agree with you Aunt Tammy…Mama is losing some marbles. She suggested I be the passenger in a car with Hayden. He’s not even 2 yet!!!
He is a really cute driver though…I’ll give him that!
Today was also Maddie’s 3rd birthday. Clearly, we weren’t really excited about anything.
I do have some sad news to report…my soccer practice sessions have ended for the summer…
but I do think my skills have greatly improved…and I might even be ready to go pro. What do you think?
Have a great week everybody!!!
NOLAN-ISMS
I’m not sure I’ve mentioned this, but lately I really enjoy telling Mama that she is too complicated. For some reason she just turns and stares. Must be an adult thing.
How To Make Spaghetti – by Nolan Senecal
-Fill your stockpot with water.
-Splash your hands around in the water.
-Set it on the stove and have Mama turn the heat on.
-Pull the spaghetti out of the cabinet and set it on the counter.
-Have Mama cut the package’s top off and set it back onto the counter.
-Wait and watch closely…for that one moment in which Mama might look away—then pickup and dump the uncooked spaghetti noodles all over the counter, chair you are standing on and the floor.
-Laugh when Mama looks surprised.
-Offer to help pick up the noodles; which in toddler world means break the noodles into a million little pieces and drop them back onto the floor.
-Listen to Mama ramble something about a five second rule as she tries to pick up all of the noodle pieces and drops them into the pot.
-Watch the water bubble and the pasta sink under the water.
-Hop down and offer to grab the pasta sauce out of the fridge.
-Grab the pasta sauce container (tupperware) only by the lid and bare witness to a very red and messy explosion.
-Luckily, there is still enough sauce in the container for dinner
-Clean up the pasta sauce that went all over the fridge and the floor and don’t forget to give the spaghetti a stir.
-See the pasta sauce sitting on the kitchen counter and pretend to wash your hands in it. Uhm, is this going to stain?
-Wash your hands with soap and water (for the 3rd or 4th time) and stir the pasta one more time.
-Have Mama heat the pasta sauce.
-Rinse the pasta using a colander (and lightly touch the pot to make sure it really is hot).
-Put the spaghetti on your plate, lightly coat with tomato sauce and then sprinkle with cheddar and/or shredded parmesan.
Voila! dinner is served.
