My head is going to go “right here”….
and the rest of me is going to “lay over here”…

Now…for a different kind of HOT…
Mama signed me up (Kyle too) for 4 weeks of Small-Fry Soccer practice. We aren’t sure what to expect, but I already made a new friend. His name is Jack (green shirt). AND to our surprise Sophie showed up (pink skirt)—she’s in our group too! What a coinky-dink!
First we did our warm-ups—this step is very important!!!
Next we learned some fancy moves. This one was my favorite–it’s the side kick.
Next we tried shooting some goals…
SCORE!!! I think I scored more goals in today’s practice than Beckham has in months! :) Move over Beckham…here I come!
Kyle, Sophie and I thought soccer practice was hot, but great! Afterwards….
Kyle and I walked over to the new water splash park to cool off….
Yeah…that was cold, but felt awesome!
This past week Mama and I gave Aunt Robyn and her Mama, Judy (visiting from OK), a little edzoocation!
We even got to see our penguins swimming in their water from below!
We had a blast. Hopefully Judy will come and visit us again really soon! I hope everyone had a great weekend. We’ll see you next week!
Superman…in a pilot costume…???
Superman’s x-ray vision leads him to believe there is an airplane in the sky…
Ah-ha! But wait…
the plane’s pilot is putting out a MAYDAY call…”Mayday, mayday…is there anybody out there?” (Actually, the pilot is our friend, Mike Love. This is his aerobatic plane and I’m not sure I’d ever want to get into a plane with him behind the controls–well, maybe on an empty stomach!!!)
This is a job for SUPERMAN (with some assistance of course)!!!
Now, if I could just figure out what “thumbs up” means…
All of that hard work and I’ve worked up an appetitie!
Yep, this is a chicken. Mama and I visited a petting farm with some friends of ours. They had all kinds of fun things to do there…including playground equipment and…
a giant sand pit!
I found the safest spot on the lot.
The next day…Mama surprised me with this Hulk looking green and purple bicycle.
It is on loan from our friends, Aidan and Zachary Blotz. They’ve outgrown it–yeee haw!–and their little brother, Jackson won’t be ready until sometime next summer! Thank you Blotz family! Now, I just need to figure out how to ride it! I hope everyone has a great week. You know where I’ll be!!!
Nolan-isms:
1. I love to say “Well, actually…” and rub my chin like I’m thinking about the new suggestion. Sometimes this drives Mama and Aunt Robyn completely bonkers.
2. KISS is still my number one band, but I’ve decided that Ace is now my favorite band member (Paul used to be).
3. When I refer to myself I sound like a true Irishman…as it always comes out ‘me-self’ instead.
4. I pick out all of my clothes now…I really don’t think Mama or Papa know how to match things together!
5. I can be quite the crazy backseat driver—I think Mama doesn’t realize that ‘yellow’ always means drive faster.
Happy Independence Day! (2 days late)
Mama and I watered our red flowers for the holiday…
and even decorated their containers with small flags. (I made sure they did not touch the ground.)
Look! My new tie-dyed sheets look like 4th of July fireworks!
Papa joined us at the zoo this past Friday. We embarked on an adventure…
I showed him my ultra fast sliding powers…
and took him for a ride in the zoo’s new kiddie train. (We hid together in the giraffe car.)
We also got to see the newer Wallaby exhibit–they were jumping everywhere–
and feed some treats to the goats in the kid’s petting area—uhm, soap anyone? (One of these things looks just like the other….)
I tried out one of the zoo’s ice cream treats (after our lunch) and even shared some with Papa. We had a great time.
I think Mama got her holidays mixed up a bit. Silly Mama—it’s the 4th of July not Hawaii’s “Lei Day”!!
“I am BINOMAN”…and I can see through EVERYTHING!
