Too Much Personality???

pic 1

I’m obsessed with tie-dye and this is one of my favorites. Doesn’t it look great on me? Mama and I recently tie dyed some t-shirts and the sheets for my bed…we’ll have those pictures next week!

pic 1

Can you believe that they have books about KISS at the library???

pic 1

This one has a lot of biographical info. I have come up with a few impersonations to help you learn about the band members too…

pic 1

This is my best impersonation of Ace Frehley. He is the jokester of the group and has a very infectious laugh. Hahahhahahhhaaahahahaha!

pic 1

You might be able to guess this one….Gene Simmons. Did you know that his tongue is just over 6 inches long? I also think he must be a Fiddler on the Roof fan because his Israeli name (when he was a boy) was Chaim!

pic 1

This one was a little harder, but it is my best impersonation of Paul Stanley. He is the lead singer and lead guitarist and clearly the ‘pretty boy’ of the group. In fact, he is the most sensitive band member, which makes him wanted by all of the ladies. (Although some of the KISS books say that all of his HAIR is what really attracts the ladies!)

pic 1

Mama, Aunt Robyn and I went to JCPenney for an impromptu photo shoot.

pic 1

I was a complete show-off! I even came up with some of my own poses and when the photographer was done (she was a hottie) I wanted more!

pic 1

Even Mama cleans up nicely!

pic 1

WARNING: Viewers may need a kleenex (or 2). Isn’t this the cutest??? I hope everyone has a great week. Don’t forget to check back next week to see our completed tie-dye project!

PLAY BALL!!!

pic 1

It’s been pretty lonely without cousin Aby around to play with,

pic 1

but I’ve found a few ways to occupy my time.

pic 1

It was (sort of) finally warm enough to pull out the slip-n-slide…

pic 1

although it took some time getting used to the really cold water.

pic 1

Mama, Papa and I and Aunt Robyn & Uncle Pete all went to a Madison Mallard’s baseball game. Not long after we got there the wind picked up and the clouds came in.

pic 1

They even pulled out the tarp and delayed the game for about 30 minutes. We didn’t really get wet though… we were under a covered section. It was certainly exciting watching all of the people get wet.

pic 1

But once the rain passed, the sun came out and the weather was perfect.

pic 1
To give our butts a rest from the bleacher seats…Aunt Robyn and I played around the ballpark area. Doesn’t Aunt Robyn make a great batter?

pic 1
We also tried rolling down the fly ball field…

pic 1
but I’ve apparently forgotten how to roll down a hill! Assistance, please!

pic 1
Yeah, Aunt Robyn and Mama couldn’t quit laughing either.

pic 1
Mama got a haircut…and she looks great!

pic 1
After all of that hard work, Mama surprised me with my very own vanilla ice cream cone. It was totally worth the mess! I hope everyone has a good week! See you soon!

What a GREAT Week!

pic 1

Uncle Nathan, Cousin Aby, Grand’Mary and & Grandpa Dave all came for a visit this past week. I had a great time showing Cousin Aby the ropes of Middleton/Madison.

pic 1

I took her to the zoo to ride the famous carousel…

pic 1

at first she wasn’t sure, but by the end she loved it and did not want to get off!

pic 1

I picked up on Uncle Nathan’s tricks really quickly…

pic 1

and made sure Aby always went first–she is more used to it!

pic 1
I shared my instruments with everyone in an amazing night of ‘family band’.

pic 1

I even shared my guitar and some of my special Rock-n-Roll moves…

pic 1

with “the tall girl” (Betty)…

pic 1

and Cousin Aby! They were both great ROCK STARS!

pic 1

I also let Cousin Aby borrow my toys…

pic 1

and took her to my favorite park.

pic 1

I think the park was making Mama a little bit crazy…

pic 1

she even made Aby and I go down the slide together…and we got stuck half-way!

pic 1

Doesn’t she look like fun?

pic 1

I also took Cousin Aby to the gym pool with me. I think she had a kick-butt time!

pic 1
She even got to watch me during part of my swim lesson–I floated on my back all by myself for the first time!

pic 1

I couldn’t have asked for a better playmate…

pic 1

Thank you for coming to visit me–I had the best week ever!

Worth the Wait?

pic 1

pic 1

Aunt Robyn and I like to practice our Yoga poses–this one is called Tree pose.

pic 1

We came to the airport to pick up Grand’Mary and Grandpa Dave, but there doesn’t seem to be anyone around.

pic 1

Uh-oh…their plane has been delayed!

pic 1

There’s no need to worry…I’m a very calm and obedient 3 year old! (ha ha ha ha ha)

pic 1

We’ve been very busy since the Grandparents arrived. We even concocted home-made tattoo paint. Grand’Mary painted a butterfly on one hand…

pic 1

and Mama painted KISS on the other. (The symbol is the Egyptian symbol that Vinnie used when he was in the band.)

pic 1

pic 1

Ta-da! I’ve been showing Grandma and Grandpa all of my park tricks. It was great (except for the 45 mph wind gusts and the eventual downpour that soaked us all in less than 5 seconds).

pic 1

Grand’Mary even had a special surprise in her suitcase…

pic 1

a Spiderman mask!!! (It completes me!)

pic 1

We took Grandma and Grandpa down to the Memorial Union Terrace for some live music…and I had a lady tell me I should model for Abercrombie & Fitch. She must have been crazy–I’m no prep–I’m a rocker!

pic 1

Ahhh…Brrr…

pic 1
This is more like it. Yes, Aunt Robyn and Judy–I have a rock in my hand!!!

pic 1

While Mama and Grand’Mary spent some time take pictures in the UW Arboretum, Papa took me to see my first “theater” movie ever. It was great. (ps. We saw Kung Fu Panda)

pic 1

On Sunday someone else from my family arrived…along with her Papa, but I’m not going to say who…you’ll have to make sure you come back next week! See you then!

Sun = Food = People

pic 1

Are you sure you don’t want to come for a visit?

pic 1

We had a small party for Memorial Day and I think Kyle and I kept everyone on their (wet) toes!

pic 1

Aunt Robyn was soooo slow…

pic 1

and Mama was just plain gimpy (and sometimes wimpy) with that big brace on her right hand.

pic 1

I think Kyle really took it seriously…what do you think?

pic 1

Uh-oh…I think somebody farted over here—abandon ship!

pic 1

Despite how this photo may look…Papa made some very delicious food–gas mask anyone?

pic 1

We also tried to swing like Superman—I have no idea what Aunt Robyn is doing, but it was definitely distracting!

pic 1

There goes Kyle again–watch-out!

pic 1

Seriously–why can’t I just be a baby again???

pic 1

Is it bedtime yet?

pic 1

It’s a good thing that everybody was as tired as me because as soon as everyone went home the sky turned an eerie yellow and we were hit with some strong thunderstorms!

pic 1

The next day though…Mama showed me her beautiful flowers that had grown from the fresh supply of rain!

pic 1

Mama said Grand’Mary and Uncle Nathan are coming for a visit at the end of this week…so I’ve been talking to both of them on the phone and explaining to them how important KISS is.

pic 1

Just because I am older doesn’t mean I’ve stopped playing games!

pic 1

I’ve still been working on my painting skills. I find that natural light is better for painting… :)

pic 1

Kyle came over last night too…and we decided to play naked in the water sprinkler. We are definitely Wisconsin boys. Who else would find 40-45 degree water so refreshing on a day that only reached 81??? I hope you all enjoyed the pictures! Have a great Sunday and we’ll see you next week!
