Happy Easter!!!

Written by admin on March 23rd, 2008

Mama says Easter is a time for family get togethers and wishful thoughts about Spring…but Papa and I say…

pic 1 pic 1 Easter is a time for CHOCOLATE!!! Easter wouldn’t be Easter without a treat from Buffalo, NY’s Antoinette’s Chocolate Shoppe!

pic 1 Aunt Robyn and Uncle Pete invited us over to their place to dye some Easter eggs…it’s tradition! We even have a special routine. The first thing you have to do is drop the dye pellets into the water…

pic 1 then you stir up the liquid combo and drop–well, gently lay–the eggs into the colored water…

pic 1 next, you scoop them up with these special spoons (slowly…and without giving anyone a heart attack)…

pic 1 and set them to the side to dry. Okay…I’m done now!!! Let’s go do some laundry!

pic 1 First, you drop the laundry down the laundry chute…

pic 1 onto Mama and then…TACKLE!!!

pic 1 Aunt Robyn made Mama a very special strawberry birthday cake…it was DELICIOSO! I even sat at the table for 20-25 minutes!

pic 1 After the sugar rush I decided to stay and take a nap at Aunt Robyn’s too, which went great! I even woke up to a surprise Easter basket and the desire to hunt for hidden eggs!

pic 1 I found another one. (Shh….don’t tell anyone, but seriously…that was too EASY!!)

pic 1 *Sigh* The end to a perfect day!

pic 1 This morning I got to hunt for Easter eggs at home too. I even got to eat my very first PEEEEEEEP…

pic 1 and a couple of M&M’s…my favorite!

pic 1 pic 1 We are still trying to figure out this red thing…hopefully we’ll figure it out soon…until then…it’s a mystery! I hope everyone had a great weekend and a Happy Easter. Check back soon to find out what we are building!

The first picture of Kelly is scary. Please don’t post any more like that. The Easter eggs looked like fun…Happy Easter! I love the picture of Mom and Nolan eating cake. Very cool. Peeps are Lorre’s favorite. We got yellow Peep bunnies and bit their heads off first.

Uncle-ish Scott and Lorre sound Halloweenie biting the bunnies heads off. T Hee
I can almost make out the Kritter from the Bed booklet pix. Wish I had some of that strawberry cake too. Does Nolan write on the eggs with crayons before the dye to create “resist” and his own special eggstra art?

Grandpa Dave bought some chewy DOTS and Gran’Mary bought some DOVE chocolate squares (easier to stick to a small portion that way).
:) Happy Easter and swing into Spring.
