Mama went to Ikea today and this is what she brought home. A mattress and number sheets/comforter that are the perfect size for me!
Aunt Robyn came over to play so Mama put her to work!
Aunt Robyn and Mama are taking too long…so I’m reading the instructions…
and handing them pieces to help move it along.
Hmm…and Mama and Aunt Robyn said I was slowing the process down. What are they talking about???
Aunt Robyn said she was hot and now she’s wearing orange…so I think I’m hot and need to wear something orange too!
It is almost complete…but we aren’t quite sure what the animals are. Is that a dog and a cat or a squirrel and a fox? What do you think?
I think I need to tighten this screw just a bit…
and check the sturdiness of the sides…
I couldn’t wait for the slats and mattress…I had to try it out immediately…
but the mattress is definitely more comfortable than the floor! Batman approves…
and Mama & Papa think I am going to sleep in it…..HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAAAA!
I did it! AND it wasn’t that bad (especially not after fussing for a couple of hours and removing some of my wallpaper–a new type of therapy??)!
Now that I’ve fully transitioned to my new bed…it’s time to take down the baby bed. Uhm…wait a minute… I think I’m stuck in here! Get me outta here–I’m not a baby anymore!!!

Easter is a time for CHOCOLATE!!! Easter wouldn’t be Easter without a treat from Buffalo, NY’s Antoinette’s Chocolate Shoppe!
Aunt Robyn and Uncle Pete invited us over to their place to dye some Easter eggs…it’s tradition! We even have a special routine. The first thing you have to do is drop the dye pellets into the water…
then you stir up the liquid combo and drop–well, gently lay–the eggs into the colored water…
next, you scoop them up with these special spoons (slowly…and without giving anyone a heart attack)…
and set them to the side to dry. Okay…I’m done now!!! Let’s go do some laundry!
First, you drop the laundry down the laundry chute…
onto Mama and then…TACKLE!!!
Aunt Robyn made Mama a very special strawberry birthday cake…it was DELICIOSO! I even sat at the table for 20-25 minutes!
After the sugar rush I decided to stay and take a nap at Aunt Robyn’s too, which went great! I even woke up to a surprise Easter basket and the desire to hunt for hidden eggs!
I found another one. (Shh….don’t tell anyone, but seriously…that was too EASY!!)
*Sigh* The end to a perfect day!
This morning I got to hunt for Easter eggs at home too. I even got to eat my very first PEEEEEEEP…
and a couple of M&M’s…my favorite!
We are still trying to figure out this red thing…hopefully we’ll figure it out soon…until then…it’s a mystery! I hope everyone had a great weekend and a Happy Easter. Check back soon to find out what we are building!

Mama has informed me that tomorrow, Monday, is St. Patrick’s Day. As the newest leprechaun in this family I feel that it is my duty to make sure everyone (even the IRISH) wear green tomorrow. Make haste my dear fan club….
