Mama and Papa told me when I got up this morning that we were going to go to an apple tree farm (Eplegaarden). I got so excited that I had a hard time sitting in the car for the 20 minute drive! I just kept saying “apple tree farm”, “apple tree farm”—”where is it?”—”where is it?” I think Mama and Papa just wanted to get there too.
First we checked out their ENORMOUS pumpkin patch!!
Papa and I found the biggest pumpkin there…
and I sat on it–and it wasn’t very soft!!
I’m over three feet tall!
I gave the giant apple a high-5!!
Mama said that if I pull this apple off the tree all by myself I can eat it. Errrgh!
I did it! Papa’s helping me hold it as I take my first bite! It’s called “Golden Delicious”—and it was!
If Papa thought he was getting any of this one…
well, he’s wrong!
And I’m almost done!
Maybe Mama will let me eat one of these two….if I could just pull it off…all by…my…self–what is that touching my head and arms??? Okay, help!!
I think our bag is full! Papa and I carried it back to our wagon. Am I making you hungry yet?
Hmm…I wonder if I can sneak and eat just one more…
I’m going to hide this one under my coat—uh oh, Mama caught me. Mama says that if I quit eating the apples out of the bag she’ll attempt to make her first (apple) pie ever when we get home.
Didn’t it turn out beautiful??? Now I bet you’re hungry! Papa even stopped at the store to pick up Vanilla ice cream!! It was delicioso!! If I could I’d share an apple with all of you! There is plenty more to go ’round! Have a great week and don’t forget to eat an apple!
I love the pie!!! Way to go Natalie.
I was going to say that there better be a pie and the end of these pictuers. And their was! Awesome pictures and a fun trip to the apple tree farm for the Senecals!
