We have some serious business to take care of…Mama still has the St. Patrick’s Day decorations up and it’s almost May!

It’s such an awful sight…I’m going to close the door.

I don’t know if you can tell from these website posts, but I’m growing like a weed. Several pairs of my pants are now only great when it rains and I can reach almost all of our light switches!

I can say one thing for sure…even growing can’t slow me down!

Heave-ho, Heave-ho, Heave-ho….I’ll get this out of the grass eventually.

I’m also beginning to notice different things about stuff I see all of the time. Check out the pattern this sand makes…

and look at how well it buries the princess! You can’t hear her, but she’s begging for her life!

Forget about trying to push this thing over the deck boards…I’ll just carry it to the gas station.

Gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp…we need to fill it up…I’m going on a long trip.

Sometimes I still try to push or pull my car across the lawn…

but it doesn’t always work out the way I want it to.

Papa and I have been going to a sports class on Saturday mornings…doesn’t he look like a pro?

Mama and I went to the Olbrich Botannical Gardens to play in the water fountains…but there was no water. Where could the water be?

I don’t see any water here either. Where else can we look?

but maybe my Rody will help me find some water.

Aha! Here is my sled. Maybe it will help me find some water…

Oh yea…I need someone to pull me and Mama said she’d do it! Maybe we can find the water together!

Nope…we still can’t find the water. Where could the water be hiding?

I’m going to perform a water dance wrapped up in my blankie like a sausage baby…

and then leap over this step…all in an effort to find some water!!

*Sigh*…no water. Where could the water be hiding? (ps. I think my hands may get stuck this way!)

I just don’t know where to look anymore!

Alas…after looking everywhere we finally found the water hiding in Lake Monona!!! I hope you had a good weekend…we’ll see you next week!

Howdy Pardner…where’s the BBQ?

On Monday of this past week, Mama and Aunt Robyn took me to the park. Since Mama can’t handle rotating circles…Aunt Robyn took me on the merry-go-round–and I loved it!

I tried running across it while it was spinning…(that made both Mama and Aunt Robyn a little nervous)…

and I even tried to out run the merry-go-round, but Aunt Robyn caught me every time.

And then there was snow. We got almost 6 inches of very heavy wet Spring snow on April 11th (It’s too late for that much snow!!). The best part of the really wet Spring snows is that it coats absolutely everything.

When all was said and done…it was even hard for the Robins to stay away.

To help brighten up the cloudy day…I decided to wear stripes. How do they look?

I think they are bright enough to make me hungry for a snack. Crackers anyone?

Today it was warmer again…and I have Spring Fever. Now if I could just figure out how to get into my throne…

Maybe I need to read my newest favorite book first…(I love spinning the roller coaster into the tunnel)…

Hey…who drank all of the juice? (Shh…don’t tell Mama, but I’m only pulling on this flap for her benefit. I’ve already figured out that if I push the juice with my finger it empties even faster!)

I haven’t mixed anything lately…so I thought I’d come downstairs and record a few tracks.

I won 2nd place in our NCAA Men’s basketball pool…so I used the money to buy a new toy: legos with action figures. In honor of Easter…I’ve named Spider Man my spiritual leader.

After hearing an unusual noise in the garage…Mama and I had to take a look. Not only did a Grackle get stuck inside…he thought the closed window was the best way out AND while he continuously ran into the window a Robin stopped to watch. Who needs Animal Planet!!!

Our weather was pretty blah-cold this week…but between our newly greened grass and my red hat we had enough color to last the whole week!

HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Aunt Robyn’s house to dye Easter eggs, but before it was all set up…I discovered something much more exciting!

She has a cat (just like mine)…except her cat runs when I’m in the room…

and runs when I’m in the hallway!

Where did she go?

Okay…on to the Easter eggs. Aunt Robyn says all of these bowls are filled with water and some of them are different colors.

I’m supposed to drop the eggs into the bowls…

wait for them to change colors…

and then use these special spoons to take them out! What an awesome idea!

Now if I just had something to wipe my hands on…ah ha…that’s what this tarp is for! Brilliant!

And this morning I woke up to a surprise from the Easter Bunny. There were some books and some balls, but best of all there was some chocolate.

We had a couple of really warm days this past week. I even wore shorts, which is pretty unusual for March. The bad news…is that Mama just went back inside to grab me a hat.

Are these hats really necessary? I mean seriously…I look like Indiana Jones!

Bucky is always stylin’ (that’s because I dress him myself)…I wish I could be more like him!

Now that it’s cool and rainy again…I thought I’d pull out my boombox and brighten our spirits.

There’s one small problem. My boombox plays a different song every time I push the button and I only like the first song. Argh.

Shhh…don’t tell anyone, but Papa told me a secret. If I turn the boombox off and back on…I can get my favorite song every time. What a genius! I knew I picked him for a reason.

Sometimes coloring is just coloring. So, I’ve discovered that whistling while I color…

and sticking my tongue in and out (just like a frog or lizard) makes the colors brighter. You should try it!

but sometimes it gets stuck under my butt bridge.

In order to perform the proper rescue…I have to put my head on the floor…
