Is this Florida or Wisconsin?

pic 1
Well, it’s the middle to end of March and the air is still a little cool…it must be Wisconsin!

pic 1
Okay…we must be in Florida…where’s the swamp?

pic 1
Yippee…we’re back in Wisconsin…no swamp here…so I get to wear my shoes again!

pic 1
I got to open the last birthday present…it was art supplies from my friends…Hadyn, Sawyer and Cash Kornusky!

pic 1
This is called a slick stick…and it really is slick! Thank you Kornuskys!

pic 1
I got to play with my sand table today. The best part was pouring sand into the castle…

pic 1
and feeding the princess to the dragon. Hmmm…tasty!

pic 1
Poof! And in one bite…she’s gone!

pic 1
Mama took me to see the Trinity Irish Dancers. They were gettin’ jiggy with it! (haha…I crack myself up!)

pic 1
There were so many dancers that it was hard to tell who was coming and who was going. And when it was all said and done…I made sure to stand up (as soon as the music stopped and it appeared quiet) and yelp “MORE”!! Everybody laughed, but I’m not even sure why! I hope you all had a great St. Patrick’s Day. We’ve been posting up a storm so make sure you check out the St. Patrick’s Day post and my Birthday Party post. Thank you and have a great week!

Birthday Party at Last!

pic 1
Mama and Papa threw me a birthday party! There was great food…

pic 1
did I mention the great food?

pic 1
lots of balloons (and silverware…thank goodness…I certainly can’t imagine eating this cupcake without a fork)…

pic 1
and an invasion of boys and their Mamas and Papas…

pic 1
Well, actually there were two girls, Megan, who is 2 and Cassidy, who is 6 months old!

pic 1
Everyone seemed to enjoy playing with my toys…

pic 1
and after everyone left I got to open my present from Aunt Robyn and Uncle Pete…

pic 1
I can’t even tell you all of the different things inside this bucket…

pic 1
but I couldn’t wait to get started. The only question is…what do I do with it?

pic 1
Oh…wow…this toy even comes with an educated instructor!! Thank you Aunt Robyn and Uncle Pete! Have a good weekend everyone and don’t forget to come back and check out my new post on Sunday!

Better Late Than Never!!

pic 1
Mama has to look the other way in the elevator, but not me…I want to “see, see see”.

pic 1
It’s the state’s capitol and I just saw la moto drive by!!!

pic 1
Today we went to check out the new transportation exhibits at the Children’s Museum. This is a huge crane that spins the opposite direciton you turn…

pic 1
They also had all of these palm size diggers in small rocks…much better than sand (Mama says).

pic 1
In honor of Uncle Nathan…Mama and I shared a strawberry smoothie from Jamba Juice. Yum!

pic 1
Mama got new running shoes…I thought I’d try them out.

pic 1
Hmm…that was exhausting…I think I’ll take a break!

pic 1
I love to put on my dress shoes and pretend to tap dance…I must have some Gregory Hines in my blood!

pic 1
I also like to be ultra comfortable when I open birthday cards. Who needs pants for that?? (shhh… don’t tell anyone, but I’m not wearing a diaper either!!)

pic 1
It was warm today…so we thought we’d head to the zoo. We haven’t been in a couple of months…

pic 1
and for the first time ever (and believe me we’ve been to the zoo a lot and at all times of the year) we got to see the penguins swim in their water!!! It was awesome! I hope you have a great week!

What Does a 2 yr old Do On His Birthday?

pic 1
First, I eat breakfast—some blueberries, bananas and maybe oatmeal or toast—on a special Curious George plate and in my special birthday balloon chair.

pic 1
Next, I show a little (2yr old) attitude…

pic 1
until I have to have my diaper changed and get dressed for the day…don’t mess with me and my argyle!!

pic 1
After that I play with my toys…until it’s time to go to the gym for my swimming lessons.

pic 1
When we got home we ate lunch, opened a present that came in the mail from Aunt’s Aunt! (Thank you!) and took a 2.5 hour nap!

pic 1
When Papa got home I opened my birthday presents!

pic 1
Papa had to help…he keeps telling me I can just rip the paper, but I’m not so sure.

pic 1
Papa got me an ambulance that has doors that open…now if I could just find the perfect pilot (driver).

pic 1
Maybe one of these guys will fit?

pic 1
Nope! They’re too big, but maybe this monkey will do?

pic 1
Mama and Papa also got me some new trains…including this one named “Duck.” Although according to my book his real name is Montague. His friends tease him by calling him “Duck, Duck Caboose”…and I like to walk around saying this over and over until I fall to the floor laughing hysterically. After all of this excitement…I slept like a baby.

pic 1
The next morning I woke up and played with my toys again…including this train garage that Grandma Lily and Grandpa Bill got me. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

pic 1
Now if I could just get it up here onto my train table…

pic 1
I could put Montague (I mean Duck) into his spot! Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, gifts and cards! Have a great week!!
