Papa said we were going to visit Grandma and Grandpa so I went and got my first haircut! What-do-ya think?

This thing is pretty cool. Mama said it’s going to keep my yogurt and applesauce cold in the car!

Towards the end of the car ride I was starting to get ansy…so Papa pulled over and look what we found in Gladstone… a paradise park! We played for almost an hour!

The park had lots of cool climbing structures, bridges, swings…and large swarms of black flies that reminded Mama and Papa of walking across Lawrence’s campus near the Fox River!

I found another playground and this one is on Lake Michigan.

Papa took me to a place where he played growing up…on Walloon Lake…

…and let me dip my feet in the water…brrr!!

We visited with Grandma Lily at her antique shop…

and played on the playground at Papa’s school…although he’s so old now—all the equipment is different!

Grandma and Grandpa spoiled me rotten…and I got to eat vanilla pudding…

and on our way home I got to drive the Big Boy bus in Manistique. What a busy weekend! See you next week!

Aside from the last couple of days…this is what our weather has looked like for the last 10-15 days. Just before these clouds took over the sky was blue and it was about 62 degrees. And afterwards? It was wet, windy and maybe 50! Although I shouldn’t complain as listening to the thunder and watching the lightning was awesome!!

Last weekend it was so rainy I stood outside the car begging to go to the mall…

I even banged on the car door to make sure Mama and Papa could hear me!

At the mall I got to ride in a car more my size…although I wasn’t real sure about all the rocking back and forth!

This one seemed more my pace…although it was a little gaudy with all the pink and purple!

I forgot about that though…once I saw all the cool buttons inside.

There’s a break in the rain so I’ve made a quick dash outside to play for a bit!

Uh-oh…I’d better keep this ball out of Mama’s flowers!

Sometimes when it’s a little warmer I get to play and even eat without my pants on…

Papa and I bought flowers for Mama for Mother’s Day! Aren’t they awesome? I picked them out!

I am learning how to multi-task…like trying to read while walking!

Mama and Papa went to a Luau Fri. night and brought me home this lei…and I’m not sure what the heck this yellow prickly thing is. Mama says it’s edible, but I think she must have smoked somethin’ at that Luau! I’ll let you know how it turns out next week! See you then!

When Mama wasn’t looking I grabbed this towel that had a plate with more waffle on it and dragged it onto my highchair tray! Boy, you should have seen Mama’s face when she turned around!

I got a set of golf clubs! Let’s tee it up!

This retrieving the ball thing is really exhausting…I think I need a caddy!

Hey, how did all these girls get past the crowd ropes? You can’t tell from the photo, but as soon as I realized they were all on MY driveway…I turned around and ran!

It’s rainy today…so Mama and I built a fort out of this shamrock table cloth. I think we need a few more layers.

Hmm…what kind of fort is this? I can touch the roof while laying down!!

I love chasing Mama when she’s holding the camera…although it tends to make the pictures blurry!

I brought out my boombox to play some background music for the birds.

Aaaahhahahah…can I get some water? This thing is heavy!! See you in a couple of days!
