To celebrate the 4th of July Mama and I set off some fireworks. I think it almost plays like a comic strip!

Why can’t I just look inside there to see why it’s not working???

Papa was quite the pro!

I like to use the handicap ramp, but man…sometimes the ball took forever to go down the lane!

Despite all of Papa’s talk he and Mama ended up tying in the last frame. What a fun game!

Today we finally went to go and see The Last Airbender. I’ve been waiting for the last 8 days (while Papa was in Japan)!! We’ve been reading the various scroll stories from the library and have watched several of the cartoon episodes. If you haven’t checked these out…you should as the story is awesome. Even Papa stayed awake!

If you’ve never had a berry trifle you should have Mama make you one. They are delicious. She even made one for our new next door neighbors and we haven’t seen them since! (hmm…not because it was poisoned, but because it was so good they’ve stayed inside eating for days!!) Thanks for stopping by! See you again soon!

This post is made possible by the fact that Mama actually got just over 7 hours of wonderful sleep last night despite the fact that the night began with weird noises and beeps. Papa’s in Japan so I think Mama’s getting a little wacky. You may prefer to skip her crazy captions this morning!

Has anyone seen Mama’s fuschia high heels? We’ve looked and looked, but can’t find them anywhere!

Mama signed me up for a zoo class this summer. It was awesome. I got to feed some of the animals and even see where some of them sleep. I can’t wait to do it again next summer!

(Nolan)So, why are there so many steps to climb up to this slide and how do they get the water onto to the slide and am I going to get my head wet while I slide and how fast does this thing go and will there be someone at the bottom and why can’t I wear my goggles and…(Mama’s brain)—hmmm…is there someone talking? I hear a voice in the distance somewhere…I wonder what it’s saying—(nolan still going) is the water going to be cold or warm because I can do either one it’s just that I like to know before I go if the water’s going to feel cold or warm and Mama? Mama? MAMA!!!

and swim to the side unassisted in 12ft+ deep water…oh wait, if I float here I can make Mama’s heart skip a beat and almost see the bottom!

Oooh…since I can swim unassisted I get to try the yellow slide for the first time ever…hmm….
